RIGHTS RESTORED TO EX-KING ALFONSO

BURGOS, December 16.
General Franco has issued a decree restoring the full rights of Spanish citizenship to ex-King Alfonso, of which he was deprived in 1931 by the Republican Government. The decree also annuls all the Republic's later Jaws depriving him of his property in Spain.
FASCIST ESPIONAGE IN CATALONIA
Many Arrests Made
BARCELONA, December 15.
A military investigation commission has discovered an enormous Fascist espionage ring in Catalonia preparing for major warlike operations. After stationing spies in the mountains and towns, the authorities arrested two lieutenant-colonels, several doctors and lawyers, a priest, and 200 others.
Many of those arrested were sentenced* to death. Two hundred were imprisoned for 20 years.
