Government Support For Mr. MacDonald
LONDON, December 15.
Replying to a question in the House of Commons by Labour members whether Mr. MacDonald’s speech on December 13 represented the views of the Government, the Prime Minister said it was a brilliant and statesmanlike exposition, which was only partially reported. The Government fully shared Mr. MacDonald’s faith that the British Commonwealth of Nations, working in co-operation,‘would survive whatever crisis arose.
