(Received December 10, 9.30 p.m.) KAUNAS, December 16.
The official result of the Memel election is that the Germans secured 25 seats in the Diet and the Lithuanians 4. In the last Diet the Germans held 21 seats and the Lithuanians 5. The Foreign Minister, M. Urbshys, discussing the elections, said that Lithuania would not discuss an illegal solution of the Memel question, and would do her utmost to defend her integrity. He suggested that the signatories of the Memel Convention confer with Germany to seek a satisfactory definition of it. /
