Returned From Abroad Miss Nancy Ross, diet supervisor of the Auckland Hospital, who has been abroad for the last ten months, is returning to Wellington by the Wanganella, due on Tuesday. Airs. T. B. Ferguson, Napier, has returned from a holiday visit to Australia. Airs. Athol Williams, Te Ante Station, Hawke’s Bay, has returned from a visit to England. Arrived From Abroad Aliss Lola Kelly, Wellington, will arrive by the Wanganella on Tuesday from Sydney to spend Christmas with her parents, Mr. and Airs. S. Kelly, Karori. Visitors to Wellington Mrs. J. Harris, Sydney, who has been staying with her sister, Mrs. Ronald Isaacs, Remuera, Auckland, is now the guest of her sisters the Misses van Staveren, Tinakori Road, AVellington. Aliss Peace Preston-Thomas. Tollemache Road, Hastings, is a visitor to Lower Hutt for the break-up ceremonies at Chilton St. James School. Aliss Gwen Gibbs, Palmerston North, is visiting AVellington. On Holiday Airs. E. Pytt-Jackson, Wellington, is the guest, of her sister, Mrs. AV. G. Russell, Thompson Road, Napier. Airs. G. Marshall, Napier, is spending a holiday with Air. and Mrs. James Alarshall, Palmerston North.

Miss Betty List, New Plymouth, is visiting Napier., Mrs. Bracken Wilson, Tomoana Road, Hastings, is the guest of Mrs. M. Stevens, Palea.

Mrs. W. G. Paterson, Neleson Street, Hastings, is spending a short holiday with friends in New Plymouth. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Campbell and Miss Mary Campbell, Horonui, Hastings, are spending a few days in Wellington.

Miss Margaret Nelson, Christchurch, will visit Wanganui shortly and will spend a holiday as the guest of Mrs. George Clark, Gonville. Miss J. Galvin, of the Palmerston North Girls’ High School staff, will spend the holidays at her home iu Christchurch.

Mrs. G. Edgar Jones, Walau, Nelson, was a visitor to blastings for the wedding of her brother, Mr. E. A. Barker, to Miss Shena White which took place on Wednesday night. Mrs. C. P. Hainsworth. Wellington, has left for Ettrick, Otago, where she will spend the Christmas and New Year holidays, during which she will be joined by Mr. Hainsworth. Misses Valerie and Patricia Riddiford, Christchurch, are staying with Mrs. E. W. B. Hornabrook, Masterton.
