This comprehensive treatise on the craft of gamekeeping will have only a limited appeal in New Zealand, but. those whom it does interest, members and employees of acclimatization societies for instance, will find it invaluable. There are chapters on grouse and moor management, on everything concerned with the rearing of partridges and pheasants, on the rearing and management of wild duck, on stalking and on the care and improvement of rivers. The contributors to (he volume are master gamekeepers who know their subject from A to Z and can impart, their knowledge in a manner which never fails to hold interest.
