Support
A resolution strongly supporting the Government in its campaign for the sale of New Zealand goods and in its industrial expansion proposals was carried at a meeting of the Wellington Trades Council this week. A report on the recent conference of the New Zealand Federation of Labour was received from tire delegates appointed. Mr. .1. Read was appointed as the council’s representative on the Soldiers’ Civil Re-establishment League to ’fill Ihe vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr, .J, Tucker.
