DIVORCE PETITION
Decree Nisi To Judge Of Native Land Court
A decree nisi, on the ground of separation, was granted in the Supremo Court, Wellington, yesterday in an undefended divorce suit brought by John Harvey, a judge of the Native Land Court, against Cecilia Harvey. Mr, J ustiee Quilliain .was on the Bench. Mr. G. P. Finlay, Auckland, appeared for petitioner, and Mr. W. E. Leicester for respondent.
Evidence was given that the parties were married on April 1, 1910, in Wellington. They lived thereafter in Wellington, Wanganui and Gisborne. They were separated by agreement from February, 1930, to August, 1930. On August 12, 1932. at Gisborne, they became parties to an agreement for separation which had since remained in force. There were no children of the marriage, but on June 8, 1921, they adopted a six-month-old boy.
A decree nisi, to be moved absolute after the' expiration of three months, wag granted.
