FOR THE CAMP LARDER
THE ideal summer holiday is a camping trip, but even expert cooks find difficulty in remaining cool and producing appetising meals over a camp fire or portable burner. The solution to the campers' meal problems, of course, lies in preparing beforehand as many dishes as can be safely carried about. Even for weekends at the “bach," ready-cooked dishes are a saving in the time and energy of the cook. / Each week "The Dominion" offers 2/6 for a given recipe, and this week suggestions for dishes which may be taken on a holiday trip are requested. Entries must reach the Women's World, "The Dominion," Wellington, C. 1., no later than Wednesday.
