Modriniak, Wellington, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. M. McCleland, New Plymouth. Miss Mollie Runnerstrum, Christchurch, is spending a short holiday in Hawera, where she is the guest of Miss Pat Lovell. Mrs. L. A. Brooks. Wellington, accompanied by her sister, Mrs. J. B. McNight, Ohingaiti, left yesterdayon a motor tour of the North Island. Returned Home Mr. and Mrs. A. Chapman have returned to their home at Gladstone Road, Gisborne, after spending a holiday in Wellington. Mrs. G. B. Mann, Hawera, has returned from a visit to Wellington. Mrs. Charles Cooper, Christchurch, has returned from a visit to the North Island, where she visited her sister, Mrs. Shand, Wellington, and her niece, Mrs. Grotian. Mrs. Raymond Nottingham, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned to Christchurch. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Knell. Greytown, have returned to their home after a holiday spent in Christchurch and Picton, and a visit to their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Nigel Maitland, -Waipawa, Hawke’s Bay. Returned From Abroad Mrs. Charles Clabburn, 9 Kinross Street, returned to Wellington yesterday by' the Awatea after a visit to Aus- . tralia. Mrs. lan Duncan, Hobson Street, returned to Wellington yesterday morning by the Awatea' from Sydney, where she visited her daughter, Miss Agnes Duncan. Miss Marjorie Curlett, Hastings, who has been travelling in -England and on the Continent, travelled from London to Sydney by the Strathnaver and will, arrive in Wellington by the Awatea on December 12.
