PROMENADE CONCERT
A .promenade, concert will be given by the Wellington Symphony Orchestra in Wellington on Saturday. It will be modelled on the lines pf the popular “Proms.” given iu Queen's Hall, London, for- the’past -.15 years', under the conduetorship of the celebrated Str Henry A'ocd. , ~, , The ground floor of the Wellington 'Town Hall will be sealless, except for a limited portion, and will be oo at ranged as to permit of complete freedom of movement, thus creating an atmosphere ot sociability and absence of formality. Smoking’will be permitted, and a buffet supper will be provided. The principal items will be William Tell” overture, 1812 overture (with loft Nicholson Silver Band), Henry vlll dances, "Tales from the Vienna Woods, and “Pomp and Circumstance’ march.
