CHILD’S DEATH AFTER DRINKING KEROSENE

Dominion Special Service. MASTBRTON, November 13. After drinking kerosene, Met'vytt Flutey, lifted 1-1 months, the third child of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Flutey, Pukeo, Featherston, died in the Masterton Hospital yesterday afternoon. The child was playing in the kitchen while Mrs. Flutey was in another part of the house, and drank the kerosene, which was in a baking-poxvder tin. The child was removed to hospital, lint died at 12.50 p.m., an hour after admission. An inquest will be held. Tin- father of the child is a xvellktioxvn exAVtiirtirnpa Rugby representative.
