EARLY MORNING FIRE

Little Damage Caused

Slight damage was caused by fire to the roof of a three-storied building at 93 Willis Street, Wellington, early yesterday morning. The outbreak, which occurred between the ceiling and the roof, is believed to have been caused by sparks from an adjacent building. The Wellington Fire Brigade received the call to the fir e at 2.43 a.m. Four engines from the Central Fire Station and one from the Thorndon Station attended the fire, which was extinguished without difficulty with bucket pumps.
