Union Cargo Service
The following are the movements of Union Company vessels engaged in its Intercolonial cargo service:— The Gabriella, from Newcastle, Sydney aud Port Kcrnbla, is completing discharge at Gisborne. The Kaikoral, from Stculiouse Bay and Melbourne, is to leave YVellington to-day for Auckland to complete discharge. The Kairanga, from Newcastle, Port Kembla and Sydney, is due at Auckland on YVednesday. The Kaiwarra was to have left Newcastle on Saturday for Port Kembla and Sydney to complete loading for YVellington and Miramar, The Kakapo is to load at Newcastle tomorrow, aud completes at Sydney for Auckland. The Kallngo, from Newcastle and Sydney, is completing discharge at YVanga-. nut. She will leave there again about Friday for Greymoutli to load for Sydney. The Karetu, from Newcastle, Sydney, Port Kembla and Hobart, is to leave Lyttelton to-day for Oamaru to complete discharge, thence to Sydney. She will, then load at Newcastle and Sydney for Bluff, Dunedin. Timaru, Lyttelton and Oamaru. The Kauri arrived at YVellington on Saturday night from Portland and berthed at No. 1G Queen’s YVliarf to complete discharge of her cargo from Adelaide, Edlthburg and Melbourne. She is to leave again to-morrow for Edithburg, Adelaide and Melbourne to load for Dunedin, Lyttelton, YVellington and New Plymouth. The Korowai is to load at Melbourne this week for Auckland, YVellington and New Plymouth.
The Omana left YVellington yesterday for Greymoutli to load for Adelaide. She will then load at Adelaide, Edithburg and Melbourne for Auckland. Portland, Napier and YVanganui. The YVaikouaiti, from Newcastle, Port Stephens, Port Kembla and Sydney, is to leave Lvttelton to-day for Dunedin, Tlmaru and Bluff to complete discharge, thence to Sydney, She will then load at Newcastle and Sydney for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru and Lyttelton. The YVaiotapu, from Newcastle and Sydney, Is duo at New Plymouth to-day, thence to YY'elllngton and Lyttelton to complete discharge. She is due here on YVednesday. The YVairuna, from Newcastle, Port Kembla and Sydney, via Auckland, is due at YVellington thig morning and will berth at Fryatt Quay to complete discharge. She will pay off and lay up here for overhaul and survey. The YVaitaki is now to leave YVellington to-day for Melbourne via Bluff. She will leave Melbourne again ou September 21 for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington. Maetsuycker Reports The South Pacific Line motor-ship Maetsuycker, cu route from Saigon, via Singapore, Java and Port Moresby, has reported by wireless that she expects to reach Auckland at noon to-morrow. She is duo at YVellington next Friday to discharge and load, and will leave again the following day for Eastern ports via Sydney. Johnston and Co., Ltd., are the agents. NARBADA IN PORT. To continue discharge of her Eastern cargo, the Union Company’s chartered steamer Narbada arrived at YVellington yesterday afternoon from Auckland and berthed at the King’s YVliarf. She is to leave again on YVednesday for Lyttelton. Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff to complete discharge, thence to Newcastle to load for Java or Singapore. She will then load at Calcutta during November and clears there early in December, via Penang, Singapore and Java for New Zealand ports. CITY' OF PITTSBURG IN PORT. The M.-A.-N.Z. Line steamer City of Pittsburg is due at YVellington this morning, from Auckland and will berth at the King’s YVliarf to continue discharge of her Montreal cargo to the agency of the Federal Company. The vessel was to have called at Napier before coming here,, and her Napier cargo will now be transhipped from this port. The Citv of Pittsburg will later proceed to Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin to complete. PORT JACKSON’S PASSENGERS. The Port Line motor-ship Port Jackson, which is due at Dunedin on September 19 from London via Suva, lias the following 'passengers:—Miss M. E. Curtis. Miss M. Curtis. Miss E. Martin. Mrs. Sybil Hunter, Mrs. Pullen, Miss Pullen. Dr. E. Robertson is acting as snip's surgeon and Dr. Pullen ns assistant surgeon. DESSAU IN PORT. To continue discharge of her cargo from Gulf of Mexico ports, the German steamer Dessau Is due at YVellington this morning from Auckland and will berth at Fryatt Quay. She is expected to leave again to-night for Lyttelton. Dunedin and New Plymouth to complete. Gollin and Co., Ltd., are the agents. THE WANGANELLA. The Huddart, Parker motor-liner YVanganella is due at Auckland to-morrow morning from Sydney. She will leave there again on Thursday for Sydney and Melbourne. NAPIER STAR IN PORT. • To continue her Homeward loading, the Blue Star Line steamer Napier Star arrived at YVellington yesterday morning from Wanganui and berthed at the Glasgow Wharf. She is to leave again to-morrow for Napier. Gisborne and Auckland to till up, and will clear the northern port finally on 'September 27 for London, via the Panama Canal.
