Rainbow Hues
The weather has been awful this week —rain every day since Monday. Ami there have been .some of the loveliest rainbows 1 have ever seen. One day I here was one huge complete arch, very brightly coloured,, and above it a bigger arch, but much fainter. One side of the arch seemed to end (or begin) in the valley just down from here, am! all the trees showed through in all the colours of the rainbow. They looked very quaint, tinted in blues uttd pinks.— l’eier (16), North Makaretu.
