ALLEGED UNLAWFUL CAR CONVERSION

Three Young Men Charged Francis William Watson, aged 28, Stanley Grant Wills, aged 22, and Herbert Edward Barnes, aged 24, were jointly charged before Mr. W. Macaskill, J.P., in the Magistrates’ Court, Lower Hutt, yesterday, with unlawful conversion of a car, valued at £lBO, and belonging to Oliver Samuel Goss, at Petone, on August 31. They were also jointly charged with the theft at Haywards on August 31 of a distributor, electric petrol pump, set of car tools, luggage carrier, and_other ear equipment, to a total value of £25, the property of Oliver Samuel Goss. They were remanded on bail each of £5O and one surety of £5O.
