HOSPITAL AUXILIARY
Gifts Forwarded To Almoner The usual meeting of the Wellington Hospital Ladies’ Auxiliary was held at the public hospital recently, Miss Kirk presiding. Reports on hospital visiting were received from several members, these visits being much appreciated by lonely patients. Donations to the jacket fund were received from 'the Victoria League, St. Vincent de Paul Society, and to the general fund from Mrs. Harris. A number of warm bed covers were passed over to the almoner, Mrs. Purves, who was able to find full use for as many of these as the auxiliary could collect. An appeal was made for assistance in transporting massage patients, women driving cars could, if they liked, give wonderful service this way.
