Hawke’s Bay-Wellington Rugby Match

REPRESENTATIVE LEAGUE GAME

The principal outdoor attraction in Wellington this afternoon will be the representative Rugby football match between the Hawke’s Bay and Wellington fifteens. The match will start at 3 o’clock, and a curtain-raiser will be supplied at 1.30 if the ground is in a fit state, by junior teams representing Wairararpa and Wellington. Rugby League.

A Rugby League football match will be played at Newtown Park this afternoon between teams representing Canterbury and Wellington.. Play will start at 3 o’clock, and a curtain-raiser will be supplied by Miramar and St. George, the two leading reserve grade teams.
