GOLF COMPETITIONS

Karori Club On Saturday afternoon a single stableford will be' played b.v members of the Karori club. On’ Sunday there will be a fourball bogey competition in the morning and a fourball stableford in the afternoon. Members are requested to complete the first round of the championships as well as that of the Lauchian trophy as early as possible. Titahi Club On Saturday afternoon an August medal competition will be played by members of the Titahi club. On Sunday morning there will be a medal round run in conjunction witli a qualifying round for the Hutchinson Cup. In the afternoon a fourball best-ball bogey will be played. Entries for the club championship and the Mary Alward Cup close tills week-end. A meeting of those interested in the formation of a tennis club will be called in the clubhouse at 4.30 on Sunday. Titahi Ladies’ Club The third round of the knock-out competition of the Tltuhl ladles’ club is to be completed this week-end, also matches in th,, fourball will be played wherever possible.
