Thus the critic of “Punch” commenced his notice of this uproarious comedy, and his prophecy came true, for the play drew
London audiences throughout the year. The Wellington Repertory Theatre has chosen “Storm in a Teacup” for presentation at the Concert Chamber for a five nights’ season commeiicing on September 6 under the direction of Mr. W. S. Wauchop. The east will include Moira Swan, Joy Hodgson, Kathleen Smith, Marion McCartney, A. Eaton Hurley, A. R. Harper (a newcomer frbm Auckland), Alex Peacock. A. S. Farquhar, G. O. Cooper, T. B. Campbell, W. W. Stirling, Edgar F. Kain, Cyril Edgar and L. W. Thornton.
