GENERAL REGRADING The recent general regrading of railway officers has necessitated a large number of transfers, the principal staff changes in the Wellington district being as follows: — Mr. AV. E. Goodley, clerk, road service branch, Wellington, to bus manager, Dunedin; Mr. R. Campbell, train-running officer, Auckland, to train-running,officer, Wellington.

Mitchell, ledger clerk, Stores Branch, Woburn, to chief clerk, Stores Branch, Otahuhu; Air. V. C. Hardie, chief clerk, Stores Branch, Otahuhu, to assistant district storekeeper, Woburn ; Air. K. S. Allwright, stationmaster, Hawera, to stationmaster, 'Wanganui; Air. It. G. Croudis, stationmaster, Lower Hutt, to stationmaster, Feilding. Transfers and promotions in other districts include those of Mr. H. E. Cheeseman, assistant stationmaster, Auckland, to stationmaster, Napier; Mr. A. H. AV. Evenden, statioumaster, Taumarunui, to stationmaster, Tauranga; and Mr. I. J. Cameron, stationmaster, Milton, to stationmaster, Ashburton.
