Labourer Remanded At Palmerston North By. Telegraph—Press Association, Palmerston North, August 9. As a sequel to the disappearance of a safe last Thursday night from the premises of Buglass and Brewer, Taonui Street, and the. discovery of the safe forced open a few miles from the city, Leonard Norman Crawford, aged 31, labourer, was charged in the Magistrates’ Court to-day with breaking, entering and theft of a safe, books and money of a total value of £2O. Crawford was remanded.
