A further decline of £48,699 is shown in the note issue, which totals £13,545,859. Demand liabilities to the fetate amount to £2,589,550, a decrease of £500,512. The trading banks’ reserve balances total £7,972.302, an increase of £463,975, Other demariTl at £275,335 have increased by £53,115. This week the .bank shows liabilities in currencies other than New Zealand amounting to £BOB4. Other liabilities total £119,128, an increase of £13,048. The statement balances at £26,021,249, a decrease of £10,989.
