Miss Gledhill Honoured
Mr. and Mrs. B. Cowan, Union Street, Palmerston North, gave a delightful party on July 9 to celebrate the birthday of their daughter Gerta. Orchestral and vocal items, communitv singing, dancing and cards were 'enjoyed. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. C. Hewitt, Mr. and Mrs. G. Byers; Mrs. A. Freeman, Mrs. L. Jones, all of Palmerston North; Miss It. Webster, Wellington; Miss N. GranU Miss M. Johnson, Napier; Miss J. Rosen, Miss E. Cowan, Hastings; Messrs. G. Greer, W. Welsh, L. Evans, P. Craig, .J. McGrath, Fitzpatrick and A. Robbie (Wanganui).
