Exhibition Transport
Sir, —I notice many reports in your columns concerning the difficulties to be faced in connection with the forthcoming exhibition. Might I suggest that suburbs situated like Island Bay could easily be provided for by means of a bus service running from the Island Bay terminus round the bay direct to the exhibition? This would assist to spread the traffic—would also enable Island Bay to cater better for prospective visitors and would provide a delightfuj alternative route for people travelling out from town. Hoping this method will be provided for by our transport authorities. —I am, etc., ISLANDER. Wellington, July 19.
