Tramcars and other vehicles were held up in lower Cuba Street for 10 minutes about noon yesterday by a motor-car, which stopped on the crossing at James Smith’s corner and could not be moved either backward or forward. Finally four traffic officers, a policeman and two civilians lifted the car clear of the tram tracks.
