TOTALS FOR VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS

Increases In Most Cases In the Consolidated Fund, debit services total £9,554,230, an increase of £103,000 over last year. Exchange amounts to £1,800,000, a decrease of £7678 on last year. The highways account total is £3,161,000, an increase of £346,000. This item of expenditure is covered by a similar amount in the revenue account.

Provision in the present estimates in regard to the latter vote includes a full year’s working, whereas last year only portion of the year’s vote was included.
