Assurance That Nothing Will Be Suppressed

London, July 19.

A debate which was launched in the House of Commons by the Labour Party on the case of Mr. Sandys collapsed to-day, and the House adopted, a proposal by the Liberal Leader, Sir Archibald Sinclair, instructing _ a Select Committee under the Official Secrets Act to inquire into the circumstances under which Mr. Sandys was summoned before a military court of inquiry. The Prime Minister assured the House that nothing was going to be suppressed, and that no one was more anxious for the matter to be cleared up than the Secretary of War.
