Kull rinks are now the usual stale of tilings at the winter green in the, AVelliugtou Show buildings at John Street, denoting Hint indoor bowls have come to stay. Not only does this apply to Saturday afternoons, but to nearly every night of the week. There was a full board ou Saturday afternoon. The indoor bowling badges game was, ae usual, the. only "unfriendly” one of the day. The holders were successful in retaining the decorations at least for one more week. The rinks and scores were as follows:-— Holders' —Eownes, Norrie,, Wilson, AVearne (s.) -- Challengers—Moult, Johnston, Ulmer. Conder (e.) 12 Frindiy rink games were played as follows: Urwin beat Bradshaw, 29-13; Tucker beat Munro, 26-19; McCune beat Ridger, 19-17; Stonebanks beat Routley, 24-17; Bedell beat Estall, 29-21; Thompson beat Hamilton, 25-17; Brice beat Fraser, 22-19; Ricketts beat AVatts, 2116. There was a friendly six-rink encounter between the Hataitai and AVellington clubs on Thursday evening last, resulting in a win for the former club by a narrow margin.
