ILL-TREATMENT OF NAZIS
Austrians Imprisoned
London, July 6.
The Vienna correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" says that investigations are proceeding concerning charges of cruelty against former police officers and men of the Heimwebr (Austrian anti-Nazi organisation), who are alleged to have ill-treated Nazis in 1934 after the murder of Dr. Dolfnss, the Austrian Chancellor.
A police court at Klagenfurt has sentenced a police major to three years’ imprisonment with hard labour for ordering Nazi prisoners to be flogged with a rublter whip in July, 1934. Two police inspectors who performed the floggings have also been jailed. One said that, he flogged at least 100 Nazis in two months.
DISSOLUTION OF TRADE UNIONS

All trade unions have been dissolved, and the Nazi Labour Front is conflscirt ing their funds, totalling £2.700,000.
