THE KING’S CUP AIR RACE
Won By A. Henshaw (Received July 3, 9.30 p.m.) London, July 2. The annual King's Cup air race round England was won by A. Henshaw, flying a Mew Gull, with a handicap of llmin, 4sec. and conceding 2hr. 38min. Isec to the limit man. He averaged 2361 miles an hour, the fastest time in the race, for which there is a special prize of £3OO in addition to the £BOO first prlke. Guthrie, also in a Mew Gull, with a handicap of ISmin., was second. Flying Officer Clouston, accompanied by his wife, in a B.A. Eagle, with a handicap of 2hr. 46lmin., retired at the tenth lap owing to a stoppage in the petrol tank. There were 14 competitors and conditions were perfect. \
