Looking back into the Hutt Valley from the Hay wards-Pahautanui Road. The Stokes Valley road which runs into the hills on the other side of the Hutt Valley, can be seen as a white line a upper left centre. The Haywards-Pahautanui road is being straightened and widened to make it a first-class traffic-way.
