At Budapest: Gabory (Hungary) defeated Metaxa (Germany), 7-5, 6-1, 4-6, 2-6, 7-5: Henkel and Metaxa defeated Dallos and Asboth, 5-7, 6-1, 8-6, 6-3.
At Brussels: Mohammed Gluins (India) defeated Maeyaert (Belgium), 5-7, 2-6, 6-3, 6-1, 9-7. Rain prevented the second singles match. At Paris: Petra (France) defeated Tnronl (Italy), 6-0, 6-2, 6-3; Destremoau defeated Cannpele, 3-6, 6-0, t>-3, 7-5.

Middlesex tennis semi-finals resulted: Fab,van nnd Marble (America) defeated Ilopman ami Stevenson, 6-3, (i-3; Miss Helnniiller and®Miss Morphew defeated Miss Dearman and Miss Ingram, Oil, 6-3, 8-6. The final was divided owing to rain. Women’s singles: Mdlle. JedrzeJowska defeated Miss Bundy, 7-5, 6-2. Men’s singles: Choy defeated Filby, 6-2, 6 -1.
