PACTS WITH TURKEY
British Credits Granted
(Received May 28, 12.40 a.m.) London, May 27.
Mr. Chamberlain announced in the House of Commons that three agreements had been signed with Turkey, granting credits of £10,000,000 for goods manufactured in Britain and enabling ’Turkey to order warships and other war material. Turkey agreed to provisions requiring her to clear off past arrears.
