Y.W.C.A. CONVENTION
Opening Sessions In Dunedin By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, May 25. Seventy-five delegates to the triennial convention of the Y.W.C.A. assembled this evening at the opening session of the conference, which will extend over several days. Pleasure at the increasing interest in the movement was expressed by the president of the Dunedin centre, Miss Francis Ross, and the Dominion president, Dr. Sylvia Chapman. The mayor, Mr. A. J. Allan, welcomed the delegates and wished the conference success.
The evening session was devoted to the presentation of national reports by the secretary, Miss Ethel Law, and the setting up of committees. '
