Company’s Claim For Damages '[’lie hearing of a claim for £5OOO damages brought by the Wellington Flax Company against Sir Kennelli Douglas was continued in the Supreme Court. Wellington, yesterday. The action arises from a tire which destroyed a large area of llax at Mangaroa in November last, plaintiffs alleging that Sir Kenneth, who owns nn adjoining property, was responsible for the fire. The defence denied liability.

Further evidence for plaintiffs was given yesterday morning, and in the afternoon the jury inspected the locality. The case will be resumed at 10 a.m. to-day.
