Protracted discussion by both parties during the past week lias not yet resulted iu any solution to the deadlockover the manning by the Seamen’s Union of the steamer Kaimiro.

Following tlie dispute tlie crew of tlie ship was paid off a week ttgo and since then the vessel has been idle. A meeting of the Seamen's Union was held today to consider taking the ship to sea. No result was reached mid a further meeting will be held to-morrow.
