AGRICULTURAL TALKS
Value Of N.Z. Minister’s Presence
(Received May 24, 10.5 pan.)
Canberra, May 24.
The Acting-Minister of Commerce, Mr. Cameron, presenting a report of the business transacted at the recent meeting of the Agricultural Council, informed the House of Representatives that the presence of the New Zealand Minister, Mr. W. Lee Martin, had distinct advantages. Mr. Martin’s contributions to the deliberations were fre quently most informative and practical, facilitating -a proper study of the export, research, administrative and agricultural problems common to both countries. One very interesting suggestion Mr. Martin made was that there should be a systematic exchange of information as well as interchange of experts.
