MONDAY’S WRESTLING

| Can "Lofty” Blotnfield settle Bat Fraley's winning ways? This is the question which wrestling enthusiasts I throughout the Dominion have been askI ing themselves ever since the brilliant Nebraskan set out on his present tour and proceeded to leave a trail of shattered hopes and bruised bodies behind him. It is also a question that will be answered nt the Wellington Town Hall on Munday night, where Fraley is to have his eagerly-awaited return contest witli Blomfield. This match will readily he recognised by all followers of the sport not only as the most important yet to take place in Wellington this season, but also the outstanding fixture for the whole • Dominion. The first meeting between these two caused tin.' Auckland Town Hall to be booked out long before the match, ami the elash which took place will never be forgotten. Although Blomiield was weary after constant travelling and wrestling, he put up such a fine display against the cowboy that even those who freely admitted the latter's superiority on the night, felt confident of a different result when the New Zealand champion had had a chance to rid hintself of his staleness. Blotnfield will be in the pink of condition on Monday and. if Fraley can win again, it will be only because he is an even greater wrestler than he has so far been considered.
