MANAWATU TENNIS
Season's Ranking List Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North. May 24. The executive of the Mauawatu Lawn Tennis Association met at Palmerston North last night and appointed Messrs. J. Christie and D. W. Creed to attend a meeting in Wellington ou June 13 -which will discuss the proposed constitution of the New Zealand Lawn Tenuis Umpires Association. The season’s- ranking list, submitted by Mr. 11. N. Watson, was as follows:— Men: D. Livingstone, W. Buddy, R. Chisholm, W. Hobin, >S. Hooper, D. McMurray, J. Christie, G. Tapp, J. Lope, D. O'Brien. Women : Mesdames J. 11. McDonald. Thomson, W. Hobin, Adams, V\ aldiu, Lennon, with Misses Nicholson. Barnett. L. Rutherford and Mrs. Evans all ranked eighth equal. It was decided to forward the name ot Mrs. J. 11. McDonald to the N.Z.L.T.A. for New Zealand ranking.
