Chief Justice’s Warning

A warning that if lie came before the court again he would be in danger of being declared a habitual criminal was given by the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) in (he Supreme Court this morning in sentencing Thomas Roberts, a Maori, aged 28, to 18 months’ hard labour for forgery, uttering and theft.
