MONDAY’S WRESTLING
The convincing performance given by Cowboy Pat Fraley at the Town Hall on Alonday night left no doubts in the minds of those who saw it as to the visitor’s wrestling class, and it was recognised that he would be seen at his best against a big and tough opponent. The Wellington association has booked Fraley to appear at Wellington again next Alonday night, when his opponent will be Pat Aleehan, the Canadian who had five years in the North-West Mounted Police. Meehan, who was introduced from the ring early in the season, is a particularly stalwart specimen, being 6ft. 3in.’ in height and weighing about 16 stone. He had con. siderable wrestling experience as an amateur, winning the Canadian heavyweight title for two years in succession before he turned professional, and since then he has had more than 200 matches witii. a large percentage of successes. In addition to gaining a points decision over Cliff Olsen, a wrestler whom few have managed to beat. lie has drawn with AHncent Lopez, the Alexican who claimed the world title a few years ago.
