Hewitt, S.M., in the Children’s Court, Wellington, on Saturday, to a boy of. twelve who had admitted a charge of breaking and entering and theft. Detective-Sergeant Murray said that when delivering a magazine at a house in Kilbirnie the boy, noticing a key in the door, entered and stole a watch. Later he became a little conscience-stricken and went back and dropped the watch near the owner's gate. The magistrate ordered the boy to be placed under the supervision of the child welfare officer for a | year. i
