Farewell To Fay Compton

The final performance in New Zealand by the Williamson company headed by Miss Fay Compton took place on Saturday night, when a further delightful performance of Gerald Savory’s comedy. “George and Margaret,” was given to a large audience, who enjoyed every moment of this deliciously witty comedy. Miss Compton and the members of the company are to leave for Sydney to-day by the Awatca. The company is to open in Brisbane on April 30’ in “George and Margaret,” to be followed by “Victoria Regina.” So far this company has not been seen in Sydney. It is to open there in "Victoria Regina” on Mai 14.,
