Union Cargo Service

The following are the movements ot Union Company vessels engaged in Its intercolonial cargo service:— The Gabriella is to load at Whangaroa early next mouth and completes at Greymouth for Sydney. The Kaikorai Is to leave Newcastle today for Port Kembla, and Sydney, to complete loading for Wellington. The Kairanga is to leave Newcastle today for Port Stephens, Port Kembla and Sydney, to complete loading for Auckland. The Kakapo is to leave Wellington today for Newcastle and Sydney to load for Auckland and Napier. The Kalingb, from Newcastle, is to leave Sydney to-day for New Plymouth and Wanganui. The Karetu, from Eden, Port Kembla, Newcastle and Sydney, is to leave Dunedin to-day for Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton, thence to Sydney. She will then load at Newcastle, Sydney and Hobart for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton, and Oamaru. The Kauri, from Melbourne and Edithburg, is to leave Adelaide next Friday for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin.

The Kekerangu, from Newcastle and Port Kembla, is to leave Auckland next Friday for Wellington to complete discharge. ' The Omana, from Hobart, South Australia and Melbourne, was due at Portland yesterday, thence to Auckland and Tarakohe to complete discharge. The Waiana is to leave Auckland about to-morrow for Napier.to load for Melbourne. The Waikouaiti is to leave Bluff to-day for Sydney. She will then load at Newcastle Port Stephens, Port Kembla, and Sydney for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru and Lyttelton. The Waiotapu is to leave Auckland toforrow for Newcastle for bunkers,, thence to Williamstown to load wheat for Auckland.

The Waitaki, from Melbourne, is due at Bluff to-day, thence to Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington to complete discharge. She is due here next Friday and will leave again the following day for Melbourne, via Bluff.

She left Wellington on March 26 for London and Hamburg, via the Panama Canal. The Port Melbourne, which loaded to the agency of the Shaw, Savill Company and left Wellington on March 26 for London via the Panama Canal, also cleared Colon on March 19. PORT CHALMERS IN PORT. To complete her Homeward loading, the Port Line motor-ship Port Chalmers arrived at 'Wellington on Saturday from Napier and berthed at the Glasgow Wharf. She is to clear this port finally on Thursday for London and Hamburg via Cape Horn. , PAKEHA LOADING. In ballast from Glasgow, via the Cape of Good Hope and Newcastle, the Shaw, •Savill steamer Pakeha reached Bluff yesterday to commence her Homeward loading. She Is to leave there again on Thursday for Lyttelton, Picton, Wellington, Waikokopu and Gisborne to fill up. The vessel Is due here on May 3 and is to clear Gisborne finally on May 14 for London, via the Panama Canal. NORTHUMBERLAND CLEARS COLON. Cabled advice has been received ’by the Federal Company' that the Northumberland cleared Colon on April 20. She left Wanganui on 29 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool. Manchester and Glasgow, via the Panama Canal. PORT SYDNEY IN PORT. To continue her Homeward loading, the Port Lino steamer Port Sydney arrived at Wellington on Saturday afternoon from Port Chalmers and berthed at Aotea Quay. She is to leave here again next Friday for Gisborne and Auckland to till up. and is scheduled to clear the northern port finally on May 7 for London, via the Panama Canal AWATEA DUE 8 A.M. TO-DAY. En route from Sydney to Wellington, the Union Company's liner Awatea has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive off Point. Halswell at 7.40 a.m. to-day. She will berth shortly after 8 o'clock at No. 1 south Queen’s Wharf. The Awatea is ■timed to leave here again at 8 p.m. to-day on the return trip to Sydney. NAVIGATION WARNINGS. The following navigation warning was broadcast by Melbourne radio at 3.41 p.m, on Monday: Four fishing vessels missing from off Brighton may be in distress between Brighton and live. It is requested that masters of vessels will please look out for them. The Director-General. Post and Tele graph Department, has been advised of the following navigation warning broadcast by the motor-ship Port Tauranga at 10.35 a.'m. on Saturday:—"B.so a.m., large log about 15 feet long, lat. 40.53 long. 172.00 E. 9.25 a.m. in lat. 41.00 S. long. 171.54 E. tree trunk about 30 feet long—dangerous to navigation.’’

Delayed by rain at Napier, the Blue Star Line motor-ship Empire Star is now due at Wellington to-morrow to continue discharge of her Liverpool cargo to the agenav of the Federal Company. She will later complete at Lyttelton and Dunedin. RANGITANE DELAYED. The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor-liner Rangitane is to leave. Auckland ou Thursday for Napier and Wellington to complete her Homeward loading. She is due here on May 4 and is now scheduled to clear this port finally at daybreak on May 11 for London, via the Panama Canal. CITY OF.-YOKOHAMA AT AUCKLAND. 1 From Halifax to the agency of the federal Company, the M.-A.-N.Z. Line steamer City of Yokohama reached Auckland on Sunday. She will later complete discharge at. Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, and is due here next Sunday. BRISBANE MARU AT AUCKLAND. From Japan via Rabaul and Noumea, the O.S.K. Line motor-ship Brisbane Maru reached Auckland early on Saturday morning. She is due at Wellington next Friday to discharge and load and will leave again the following day for Dunedin and Lyttelton: thence to Napier and Auckland to fill up. The vessel is scheduled to clear Auckland finally on May 8 for Japan. NAUMBURG IN PORT. To continue discharge of her Gulf of Mexico cargo, the German steamer Nauniburg arrived at Wellington on Saturday from Auckland and berthed at No. 2 Queen’s Wharf.
