Questioned in the House of Commons on the results of the British military mission to Portugal, the Foreign Un-der-Secretary, Mr. R. A. Butler, said that as the mission had only been in Portugal for little more than a month and was not expected to leave before May, he was not in a position to state the results of the visit. He could, however, say that good progress was being made in its discussions with the Portuguese military authorities.
