By Telegraph—Press Association. Tauranga, March 28. Yesterday morning at about. 8.30, Air. and Airs. Shattock, Hamilton, with a relative, Mrs. Wells, and a little girl, were bathing at Alount Maunganui. The women got into difficulties, and Airs. Sbattock disappeared before her husband could reach her. A young man brought Airs. Wells ashore. Airs. Shattoek’s body came to the surface a few minutes later and was brought ashore. A prolonged attempt at resuscitation failed. Airs. Slialtoek. who was 35 years of age, wag a daughter of Mr. aud Mrs. Wells, who are old residents of Cambridge.
