I’liree people were killed and 10 injured. live of them seriously, in a collision mu ween a bus and a motor-car, near Ituthergleu. on Saturday night. All the persons’ killed were travelling in the ear. I’lie' victims were:— Constable William Cantrell, of AC bury, and bis wife. Noel Weatherby, of Albury, journalist. whose wife was among the injured. A pathetic feature of the tragedy was Iliat Constable (.’anti•■ll’s mother left Sydney on Saturday to stay with hiiu and was unaware of the deaths of her son and daughter-in-law until her arrival at Albury. Tile crash occurred on a narrow culvert.
The inis driver rode nine miles for assistance on a cycle carried on the roof of the bus..
