Accident At Woollen Mills

Serious injury was received by Miss Madge Gregory, of High Street, Lower Hutt, when her head was caught iu a weaving machine at tlie Wellington Woollen Manufacturing Company’s Petone mill yesterday afternoon. It is understood that Miss Gregory was examining the machine when tlie power wa.s inadvertently switched on. She received a compound fracture of tlie skull. An operation was performed at the Wellington Hospital, but her condition is stated to be serious.
