FORECAST FOR TO-DAY'S WEATHER,
Fair To Fine, With Warm Day And Cool Night Temperatures, Following is the weather report and forecast issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, for the 24 hours ending 3 p.m. to-day:— Pressure is still high and very uniform over New Zealand, but a depression of slight intensity covers the south-west Tasman Sea. The forecast is for light to moderate and A’ariable winds; east to northeast predominating over the northern half of the North Island ; elsewhere north-east to northerly gradually setting in and later freshening somewhat about and south of Cook Strait. Seas slight to moderate generally, but rather rough at times on parts of the .east coast of the Auckland peninsula and. later rising somewhat in the far south. Light to moderate winds, easterlies predominating in the northern portion of the eastern Tasman Sea, and northerlies in the southern; seas slight to moderate. Weather fair to fine with cool night but warm day temperatures.
