YEAR’S BEST FILM
Academy Prize To “Zola” The prize for the best moving picture ‘of 1937 has been awarded by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to “The Life of Emil Zola,” according to a cablegram received by the Wellington office of the film’s producers, Warner Brothers’ First National Pictures Proprietary, Ltd. The film has already been exhibited in the main centres of New Zealand. Its star is Paul Muni and the director William Dieterle.
